Our Z275 heavy zinc coated galvanized steel coil is produced on a continuous hot dip galvanizing line where a nominal 275 g/m² zinc layer is deposited on cold rolled DX51D+Z substrate. Coating mass is the strongest single lever on service life in humid, industrial and coastal atmospheres, so this grade is specified wherever the finished part will be exposed for a decade or more without repainting. Every coil is checked by a stripping test at head, middle and tail, and the measured triple spot average is printed on the coil label and on the mill test certificate. Thickness spans 0.12 mm to 3.0 mm, width up to 1250 mm, and the coil is supplied mill edge, zero spangle, dry or lightly oiled according to the customer's forming process.

Z275 coil is the workhorse of outdoor and semi-exposed steelwork. Typical uses include roofing and cladding substrates, purlins and side rails, scaffolding planks and frames, highway guardrail beams, cable trays, agricultural silos and ventilation duct in coastal plants. Because the heavier coating delays the appearance of red rust, it is frequently chosen for projects in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America where humidity and salt load are high and maintenance access is limited. The zero spangle face also accepts polyester, PVDF and epoxy paint systems without telegraphing through the finished film, so the same coil can serve both unpainted structural parts and colour coated panels.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach coil is wrapped in VCI anti-corrosion film, covered by a layer of waterproof kraft paper and a galvanized steel outer skin, then secured with three circumferential and two longitudinal steel straps on a fumigation-free plywood pallet. Eye-to-sky or eye-to-wall orientation is confirmed against the buyer's unloading equipment, and a desiccant pack is added for long sea voyages. Coils are loaded into 20ft or 40ft containers with timber dunnage and air bags to prevent shifting. Every shipment is accompanied by a mill test certificate to EN 10204 3.1, a packing list and a coating weight report, and third-party inspection by SGS or BV can be arranged before loading.
Manufacturing Experience & ComplianceOur galvanizing lines have run continuously since 2008 with a combined capacity above 300,000 metric tons per year, and the process is supervised by metallurgists who sign off each heat against ASTM A653 and EN 10346. We publish coating weight data instead of marketing language, hold ISO 9001:2015 certification, and accept SGS, BV or Intertek inspection at our works before shipment. Buyers receive the actual test values for the coil they ordered, not a generic specification sheet, and our technical team will review forming, welding and painting parameters with your engineers so that the delivered coil suits the process rather than merely meeting a grade name.
