S700MC Ultra High Strength Steel Coil 700MPa Yield 2.0-8.0mm EN 10149-2 Crane Boom Trailer

The S700MC ultra high strength steel coil is thermomechanically rolled to deliver a guaranteed 700 MPa yield strength with a low carbon equivalent that keeps the material genuinely weldable. Instead of relying on heavy alloying, Zhengde uses fine grain strengthening through controlled rolling and accelerated cooling, which produces a tough microstructure that also bends well. This combination of strength, weldability and formability makes the coil the preferred starting material for crane booms, trailer frames and dump bodies where every kilogram of structural weight reduces payload. Thicknesses from 2.0mm to 8.0mm and widths to 1600mm are available, with mechanical properties verified on samples from both ends of every coil. Mill certificates in EN 10204 3.1 format and weldability data accompany each shipment, giving fabricators the documentation they need for structural design approval.

S700MC coils are engineered for weight-sensitive mobile equipment: crane booms and outriggers, truck and trailer chassis frames, tipper and dump bodies, aerial work platforms, container handling attachments and agricultural implement frames. The grade is widely specified in EN 10149-2 projects across Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and fabricators use it to up-rate payload while keeping axle loads within legal limits.

Every coil is 100 percent inspected for dimensions and surface, and mechanical samples are taken from each coil end. Zhengde is ISO 9001:2015 certified and accepts SGS, BV and TUV third-party inspection. Packaging follows standard seaworthy export practice with rust protection and edge guards, and stock sizes ship within 7-15 days while production orders take 20-30 days.
