The SAPH440 automotive structural hot rolled carbon steel coil complies with JIS G3113 and is engineered for vehicle chassis rails, cross members, suspension arms and reinforcement brackets that must absorb repeated dynamic loads. This grade combines a minimum tensile strength of 440 MPa with good formability, allowing complex press-formed geometries without cracking while retaining the stiffness required for crash safety performance. Zhengde applies thermomechanical controlled rolling to produce a fine, uniform microstructure that gives SAPH440 coils consistent yielding behavior and bending performance across the full strip. The surface is available in either hot rolled mill finish or pickled and oiled condition, with the P&O version preferred by stamping plants to extend tool life and improve surface quality of finished parts. Thickness ranges from 1.6mm to 12mm and width from 600mm to 2000mm, with tight gauge control that keeps press loads stable and reduces springback variation in high-volume production. Every coil is tested for tensile strength, yield point, elongation and 180 degree bending, and complete inspection documents are provided to support PPAP and IATF 16949 quality submissions.

SAPH440 coils are used in passenger car and commercial vehicle chassis frames, cross members, engine mounts, suspension control arms, seat rails, bumper reinforcements and trailer frames. The grade also serves agricultural vehicles, forklifts and construction equipment where automotive-grade formability and strength are required.

Coils are packed with anti-rust protection and edge guards for export. Zhengde provides mill test certificates and supports third-party inspection. Delivery: 7-15 days for stock, 20-30 days for production orders.
