The API 5L X52 pipeline grade hot rolled carbon steel coil is manufactured specifically for the production of ERW and spiral welded line pipe used in oil, gas and water transmission systems. With a minimum yield strength of 360 MPa and controlled chemistry designed for excellent weldability, X52 coils deliver the toughness and fatigue resistance that pipeline service demands. Zhengde produces these coils on modern hot strip mills with thermomechanical controlled processing, which refines the ferrite-pearlite microstructure and guarantees uniform mechanical properties that satisfy API 5L PSL1 and PSL2 requirements. Coil dimensions range from 3mm to 20mm in thickness and 600mm to 2000mm in width, with stringent flatness and edge quality controls that feed directly into high-speed pipe forming lines. Every coil is 100% ultrasonic inspected and supplied with complete mill test certificates including chemical analysis, tensile testing and Charpy impact data. The material supports both seamless transition into pipe mills and direct use in structural applications where high toughness and guaranteed traceability are mandatory.

X52 pipeline coils are primarily consumed by ERW and spiral welded pipe mills producing line pipe for oil and gas gathering, water transmission mains, casing and tubing, as well as structural hollow sections and piling pipe. The grade also suits skids, offshore deck structures and pressure retaining fabrications where certified toughness is specified.

Coils are shipped with anti-rust protection, edge guards and seaworthy export packing. Complete API 5L documentation, MTC EN 10204 3.1 certificates and third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV are available. Delivery is 7-15 days for stock and 20-30 days for mill production.
